Which disease is known as Christmas disease? - christmas disease more condition_symptoms
Hemophilia B (also spelled Hemophilia B or hemophilia B) is a bleeding disorder caused by a mutation in the factor IX gene, leading to a lack of factor IX. This is the least common form of haemophilia, rarer than haemophilia A. It is sometimes described as Christmas disease after Stephen Christmas, the first patient with this disease. [1] It was also the first report of its identification in the Christmas edition of the British Medical Journal published [2].
